Completely useless

Although the pin itself is the right diameter, there's a small collar on one end of the pin that prohibits me from using the swivel on any of the 3 rifles I possess with European swivel mounts, as that portion of the pin is needed as well, so the swivel cannot be closed.

European style swivel studs like the Franchi Affinity 3?

Yes these are designed to fit euro style studs, but I believe the newer Franchi's use standard stud size. (1/8")
