4th Mountaineer Sling Great product
I bought this because i wanted a simple lightweight sling for hunting. It fulfills its role perfectly. It’s also got a nonslip shoulder pad on it. I will be buying more of these over time.
It just plain works! Put the orange camo sling on my Optima V2 muzzleloader. Couldn't be happier with it's performance. Durable and the rifle doesn't budge from my shoulder. I have paid a lot more for slings that didn't work half as well.
USA made is a big plus.
Sort of irrelevant as there's nothing else as good on the market, BUT....As good or better than than the original except I have to extend this one all the way out. The original I had some inches to spare.
Grips the shoulder just the right amount. Extremely robust design and materials.

Nylon slings are NO GOOD. They slip and require constant tension with your arm to maintain position which will fatigue you in no time. This is very hard to convey to hunters. These slings have anti-slip material sewn in the right place. Used to buy these from Uncle Mikes before they sent manufacturing to the Pacific Rim. Luckily, Grovetec took up the product line. Buy your sling swivel mounts/accessories from Grovetec also.
Works as I expect it would. The non-slip feature is nice. Happy with my purchase!

well made, works great for slinging over your shoulder, but it does not adjust long enough to use as a chest-carry 2-point sling--and I'm skinny. An extra 4" or 5" and it'd be better.
I needed a sling for my Henry Big Boy X. This works great. I had a leather sling on it but I just didn’t like it. This sling is great, I did put a shoulder pad on the sling as well, I live in Florida and usually have on just a t-shirt so the padding helps a lot.
Well made sling with spinout push pins for a solid lock on to any shotgun with O type butt and forestock/plug cap mounts. The sling is lined with a rubberized grip pad on one side to prevent firearm creep and slide while slung on shoulder. Very good quality for the money. You won’t be disappointed. I buy only GrovTec for my field equipment.
