I got this for a shorty that I typically run a hand stop on top try a different look. It does clean up the appearance and I think the MC Black looks better than a solid color would. I was a little surprised to see round jokes like it was meant to cover an A2 style handguard rather than rectangular holes that would be more indicative of mlok. It doesn't really matter in the end. I laced the paracord like a shoe lace but I may redo it with one end running straight down the loops and the other running back and forth like a ladder- that might lay nicer in the 1913. I finished it with a simple square knot and tucked the end into the elastic.
I haven't shot with it yet so I can't speak to how well it mitigates heat and THAT is the only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5.

As you can see, this product is a rail wrap and is not made for suppressors. We have a suppressor cover releasing in 2025.
I purchase this and the LunarConcepts hot pocket from wisemen and between the two... I love them both. They're both fantastic for the task at hand. Er, the lack of heat at hand that is.
Excellent quality but a bit expensive for what it is.
Well made, design is executed to a tee. Keeps my hand cool gloveless even through consecutive multiple magazine strings of fire. Couldn't be happier.
