Have used this steel extension for many years and they never work loose. Bought the last one to replace the flat, glossy aluminum extension with the sharp corner that came on the rifle.

Winchester hammer extension review

Ordered for winchester 94 22 ,fit was perfect and install was easy .

Marlin Hammer Extension

The extension that was ordered was supposed to fit a 1970's Marlin 336 hammer spit, but it did not fit and was to small. Not worth my time and effort sending it back.

Hello Rick, we're sorry that this hammer extension didn't fit. I went ahead a refunded the cost of the part you ordered. Just as a reminder, all our our hammer extenstions say 'minor fitting may be required'. We would love to know how far off the dimensions were? As you can imagine, it's a difficult task to fit every single hammer on the market and we're constantly gathering more data and feedback on how we can better serve our customers.
